Our Story
Airrow Boat Adventures departs daily from Downtown Sanford Marina in Sanford, Florida, cruising the quiet backwaters of the St. Johns River.
Our route winds around — and depending on the water level, straight through — the Monroe Conservation Area, a 7,500-acre stretch of mostly untouched wetlands. It's home to alligators, snakes, wild boar, otters, and a wide mix of native and migratory birds.
This is truly "The Real Florida Experience" — a chance to get up close and personal with nature. Our airboat seats just six passengers, which keeps the group small and lets us slip into backwater spots bigger boats can't reach.
Ear protection is provided. All you need is a camera — Mother Nature will put the smile on your face.

Meet Your Captain
A fourth-generation resident of Sanford, Florida, Captain Jairus Lake grew up fishing and hunting on the St. Johns River.
“It is my pleasure to show everyone the history of Sanford and the beauty of what we like to call ‘Old Florida’. It is my hope to share this paradise with everyone so we can all protect it for future generations.”
We follow no-wake zones, keep our distance from wildlife, and leave no trace. The river comes first.
USCG-licensed captains, ear protection, life jackets on board, and routes we know like our backyard.
No theme-park scripts. Just an honest look at the wild St. Johns, told by people who actually live here.
